Robin Cunningham and Frederick Johnson of WWND 103.9 FM Community Radio will broadcast from the gazebo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. September 2 at the Irvington Farmers Market, Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive Irvington.
The duo, who host the “Tuesdays with Robin and Frederick,” will give away T- shirts, magnetic bumper stickers, koozies and other items. They’ll also take requests for favorite oldies tunes.
“It’s the perfect fit for the market—local produce, local artisans and local community radio,” said market coordinator Lucy Schneider.
The market will offer summer produce and the beginnings of the fall harvest as well, she said. There will be bread, cheese, fresh cut flowers, garden plants and artisans in every craft category. There also will be face painting, food and refreshments.
