Irvington Planning Commission notes Forrester’s resignation, discusses draft survey questions

IRVINGTON—The Irvington Planning Commission anticipates a forthcoming appointment by town council following the sudden resignation of Brian Forrester on April 1. 

In his resignation letter, Forrester said he does “not have confidence in the current administration’s ability to fairly govern and reflect the wants and needs of all town residents.”

Forrester expressed his concern with council’s negative feedback regarding draft survey questions provided by ECPR-PC for the town survey.

Commission chairman Tom Chapman later commented on Forrester’s resignation saying Irvington is a community of neighbors putting the community’s wants first with goodwill in mind, and that he hopes “more people won’t resign over things they don’t like.”
