The annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot in Irvington has been canceled due to COVID-19 health concerns.
The annual event, organized by the Irvington Village Improvement Association, has been held every Thanksgiving Day morning for more than 20 years, attracting hundreds of racers and walkers of all ages each year, said race director Michelle Lybarger.
