KILMARNOCK—Jean Packett Bareford, 84, of Kilmarnock, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018.
She was a retired cafeteria manager for Rappahannock High School and drove the school bus for 37 years. She was a member of Rappahannock Church of Christ.
Jean loved her family and friends and enjoyed a good conversation.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie B. Ford (Danny) of Wicomico Church; son, Dean Bareford (Vicki) of South Prince George; brother, Neale Packett (Rosalie) of Farnham; two grandsons, Dan Ford and Vaughan Haywood; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Christopher and Mackenna.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard B. Bareford and her parents, Straughan and Gwendolyn Sisson Packett.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, at Welch Funeral Home-Marks Chapel. Interment followed at Farnham Baptist Church Cemetery. Family received friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
