FREDERICKSBURG—Virginia Cooper Dawson Beebe, 96, of Fredericksburg, formerly a longtime resident of White Stone, passed away on October 7, 2018.
She is survived by her children, Elizabeth B. Schlickenmaier (Greg), Louisa B. Quesenberry (Kenneth), Virginia B. Veillette (Tom) and John W. Beebe (Beth);10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Louisa D. Smucker (John).
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Beebe; and her parents, Philip and Louisa Dawson.
Jennie (Ginnie) spent her formative years in Lynchburg, where she was born. After graduating from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College, Lynchburg, she moved to Alexandria. She married and raised her family there before retiring to White Stone.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 12, at Historic Christ Church Burying Grounds, Weems.
