James Madison University recently welcomed the class of 2030 to campus for the fall 2026 semester.
The incoming class represents an accomplished, diverse group of individuals from 40 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and 20 countries and territories outside the U.S.
Local students include Jillian Jenkins of Warsaw, who plans to major in biology; Zachary Papanicolas of Colonial Beach, computer science; Carlyn Middleton of Colonial Beach, engineering; Robert Townsend of Montross, marketing; Elizabeth Shelton of Hardyville, mathematics; Aiveonna Newton of Callao, nursing; Jaleel Bui of Colonial Beach, nursing; Jenna Moore of Tappahannock, nursing; and Kylina Morning of Water View, psychology.
JMU also welcomed new transfer students from 21 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and three countries…..
