WHITE STONE—John “J.P.” George of White Stone passed away August 26, 2020, at 90 years old, with his family at his side.
Born October 2, 1929, he was the son of Collin and Dosie George. He worked as a chief engineer on Menhaden Fish Boats for 32 years and also cut pulp wood.
He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny P. George Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alma George; sons, Arnold and Tina George, Aaron and Beth George; and his daughter, Norma Dean. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grand children.
He was a member of White Stone Baptist Church and he will be missed by all, and forever in our hearts.
