RICHMOND—John Timothy “Tim” Coleman of Richmond died April 18, 2018, at Parham Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born December 18, 1960, to the late Frank Conaway and Elizabeth Diggs Coleman.
Tim grew up in Kilmarnock and attended Lancaster High School. He was a member of New Saint John Baptist Church.
He worked in car detailing, the fishing industry, Zapata Haynie and Omega Protein and as a meat cutter at Safeway. He was a member of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brothers, Larry Coleman Sr. of Westmoreland, Ralph Coleman Sr. of Callao, Irvin Coleman of Newport News and Dennis Coleman of Wicomico Church; and sisters, Denise Coleman of White Stone and Iris Diggs of Kilmarnock.
A funeral was held Saturday, April 28, at New Saint John Baptist Church, Kilmarnock. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
