CALLAO—John William Runninger, 80, of Callao passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020.
He was the son of Sam Watson Runninger and Alice Elizabeth Runninger, and was a member of Radiant Life Assembly of God.
John was a retired ticket counter supervisor for Pan American Airlines. He loved to fish and had not been able to for a long time. Hopefully, he is now happily fishing.
He served in the United States Air Force for six years and was honorably discharged on July 1, 1965, at the end of his service.
He is survived by wife, Carole Lynn Runninger; sons, Kevin Runninger, Justin Runninger and Andy Runninger; daughters, Lisa Alley, Jessie Runninger, Jenifer Belfield, Chrissie Simmons (John), Shai Runninger and Morgan Fortner (Joshua); 10 grandchildren; a brother, Roger Runninger (Linda); and a sister, Sue Rice (Reg).
He was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Runninger.
