MOLLUSK—Judell Virginia Doggett of Mollusk died Thursday, April 3, 2017.
Mrs. Doggett was born August 14, 1936, to Junius “Bunny” Thomas and Hattie Waddy Thomas of Mollusk. She was a member of Queen Esther Baptist Church and was educated at A. T. Wright School.
She is survived by her children, Louis Doggett Jr. of San Francisco, Calif., Carl Doggett of Richmond, Ethel Doggett of Richmond, Valerie Doggett of Mollusk, Darryl Doggett Sr. of Ottoman and Cora Doggett of Richmond; grandchildren, Deven Rice of Ashland, Darryl Doggett Jr. of Mollusk, Kendrick Diggs of Warsaw and Soleil Doggett of San Francisco; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Russell Doggett Sr.
A funeral was held Thursday, April 6, at the Queen Esther Baptist Church in Mollusk with Rev. John Jones, of the Zion Branch Baptist Church, Saluda, eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
