KILMARNOCK—Judith Kovacsy, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on February 1, 2024, in Kilmarnock. She was born to Stephen and Theresa Hamara on September 18, 1945 in Budapest, Hungary.
She graduated with honors from the Fashion Institute of Technology in Manhattan. Judith started her career as a fashion designer of children’s clothing and branched out into a wide variety of artistic fields. Her line of jewelry was carried by the Four Seasons Resort. She was known by all as an extremely selfless and loving person devoted to her Christian faith.
Judith was preceded by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Arpad Kovacsy; daughter, Dawn Forgit (Philip); son, Derek Kovacsy (Carlie); and grandchildren, Erin, Caleb, Kathryn, Andor, Bela, Elek, Imre and Lehel.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
