Lancaster got seven of their 12 hits and batted through the lineup in the first inning to score seven runs en route to a 9-6 win over Northumberland last Thursday in junior varsity baseball.
Northumberland scored one run in the top of the first and Lancaster rallied with seven hits and three walks in the bottom of the frame. The Red Devils scored another run in the third on two hit batters, a walk and fielder’s choice then added another in the fourth on three hits.
