Lancaster ended the season on a high note, beating Essex, 3-2, in junior varsity baseball to finish 8-5 for the year.

“Our team’s defense and hitting improved immensely throughout the season,” said coach Tom Kleinfelter. “Our pitching, anchored by Lane Reynolds, was excellent.”

Reynolds struck out six and allowed one earned run in a complete game against the Trojans in the season finale on May 20. He also led LHS at the plate with….
