Kevin A. Maloy Sr.

Kevin A. Maloy Sr.

HEATHSVILLE—Kevin André Maloy Sr., a proud lifelong public servant and family man, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at the age of 88. He is now reunited with his wife Joan, the love of his life.

Born on May 7, 1936, in Rochester, New York, Kevin was a true patriot. He embodied the core values of honor, courage and commitment throughout his life. He was an Eagle Scout in high school and a member of the ROTC at Princeton University, where he played football and hockey, and rowed eight-man crew. He served his country first as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, then decades in an exciting career in the Central Intelligence Agency, living and working here and abroad, never compromising his principles and beliefs.

Kevin and his beloved Joan filled every waking hour with laughter and adventure. They proudly raised a family grounded in the values they epitomized—love of family, country and foremost, God.

Upon retiring, Kevin and Joan moved to the Northern Neck where they were rarely apart, embracing the area and the St. Paul’s Catholic Church community.

Kevin is survived by his daughter, Pier-Alysia (Sean), his sons, Kreag (Debbie) and Kevin (Amy); and 11 grandchildren, Áine, Rand, Zachary, Alexander, Connor, Kevin, Patrick, Tessa, Marybeth, Brian and Kristine.

Rest in peace Old Guy. Semper Fi. We miss you!

A Mass service will be held at 11 a.m. May 10 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 7808 Cople Highway, Hague. Donations in his name may be made to St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
