Kilmarnock businesses could qualify for COVID-19 relief

KILMARNOCK—To help mitigate the financial impact of the COVID-19 virus pandemic and subsequent statewide closures, small businesses based in Kilmarnock could qualify for a grant from the town through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

The town has allocated $45,000 of the $123,675 it received through the federal relief package to provide 45 one-time grants, each totaling $1,000, to Kilmarnock small businesses.
