KILMARNOCK—The Town of Kilmarnock’s commercial area continues to grow, according to vice mayor and economic development committee chairman Mae Umphlett.
On Monday, July 21, she told council several new businesses have opened in July with more opening soon. The new include Love and Loyalty Homecare, 53 West Church Street, The Market on West Church Street; Wellsprings, 81 North Main Street; Georgie’s Pet Store, 84 South Main Street; Klassy’s Kitchen, 55 Irvington Road; and Get It and Get Seafood Hut, 507 North Main Street. The seafood hut held its grand opening July 11 and several council members attended, said Umphlett.
