The Kilmarnock Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, September 28, at Town Centre Park.
Special events coordinator Ashley Jones indicated hosts and vendors are excited about the September market. The July market attracted over 500 people. The August market was canceled.
Vendors on Saturday will include Garner’s Produce, vegetables, herbs, fruits and plants; Brindle Bay Farm, pasture-raised chicken and eggs; Dug In Farms, sunflowers and pickled items; Yellow Farm House, eggs, produce and meats; Mooch’s BBQ, barbecue sauce; Especially for You, baked goods, cake and sweet treats; Rogue Oysters, whole oysters; and Miss Mary’s Seafood, fresh shrimp and fish.
Patrons are reminded to pick up a “hit list” with popular items presented by each vendor, said Jones. The list will be available at the information table.
“We will also have our cooler bags on sale for $10 at the information table,” she said.
