William “Bill” Smith, manager of the Sports Centre in Kilmarnock, will be the guest speaker at the annual meeting of the Kilmarnock Museum, Saturday, March 24.
The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the Hayden Building, Dream Fields, 1385 Irvington Road, Kilmarnock. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.
Smith will speak on the history of retail business, how it is changing as it applies to his business and other retail interests, reported Kilmarnock Museum president Carroll Lee Ashburn.
The museum will have “Do you Remember?” photos and articles on display as well as items for purchase. There also will be a free drawing for a special gift prize.
A reception will follow a brief meeting and the public is invited, said Ashburn.
