KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock Planning Commission on Monday, September 11, unanimously recommended the approval of a conditional use permit (CUP) for a proposed auction house and open-air market at 488 North Main Street.
Applicant Brad Smith of Big Red Enterprises LLC told the commission his business is outgrowing its existing space in Irvington and the open-air space available on Main Street would be ideal for his operations.
Smith said his business, which is primarily conducted through online auctions of estate and liquidation sales, brings people from all over the state as well as the country….
