
NEWPORT NEWS—Randall Kipp of Randall Kipp Architecture Inc. in Irvington recently was presented the 2017 Volunteer of the Year award for the Middlesex Family YMCA.
The award was presented during the Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA’s annual meeting at the Marriott at City Centre, Newport News.
“Randall exemplifies a visionary community leader,” said Rosabeth Ward Kissman, regional operations director, Middlesex Family YMCA. “Through his craft, Kipp is able to advise organizations with his professional excellence and undoubtedly weaves a personal care to every project.
“Randall bestowed on our YMCA the gift of his talent and expertise throughout the construction of 11,000-square-foot multi-purpose and gathering spaces. His generosity afforded our project the blessing of his vision and artistry, which we would not have without his willingness to give. We thank Randall for his leadership which has launched our YMCA into its next phase of service.”
