Kite Festival slated Sunday

A Kite Festival will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 8, at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.

Contests will be held for the most unique kite and the highest flying kite.

No kite, no worries, there will be free kites for the first 100 kids, reported White Stone Church of the Nazarene (WSCON) children’s pastor Cathy Smith. Additionally, there will be snow cones, popcorn and other….
