KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock Police Department (KPD) will observe National Night Out from 6-8 p.m. October 6 at Town Centre Park, 150 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Join neighbors and communities across the nation for National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live, said community development coordinator Emilie Webster.
National Night Out will feature raffles, photos in a KPD car, a bouncy house, community organizations, first responders and games, said Webster.
Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions or just socialize with members of the KPD and other law enforcement agencies, fire departments, rescue squads and the Community Emergency Response Team.
