Alexis VerMeer dominated at the net with 13 kills and four blocks for Lancaster High School last week in a three-game sweep of Northampton in varsity volleyball.
The Lady Devils, after losing to Middlesex at home on Monday, September 16, are now 3-3 with Northern Neck District play to begin Tuesday, September 24, at home against Northumberland. Before then, LHS will replay Northampton and take a second shot at Middlesex on Monday, September 23.

Against the Yellow Jackets on Thursday, September 12, Rory Lally had six kills and put over four aces. Kynleigh Wilson had four kills.
