Seems the Lancaster High School varsity softball team is continuing where it left off. After one of the most successful seasons in the last few decades with a run deep into the postseason in 2025, the Lady Devils are back at it with a 10-2 record midway through the season.

Lancaster is riding a four-game winning streak after losing to Strasburg during a spring break invitational and got off to a 2-0 start in Northern Neck District play with back-to-back wins over Colonial Beach High School last week. LHS outscored the Drifters 37-4 in the two outings then headed across the Chesapeake Bay to beat Chincoteague, 14-3.
