Lancaster picked up a pair of wins over Colonial Beach to open play against Northern Neck District teams and shut out Chincoteague last week to improve its winning streak to four games.

The Red Devils beat the Drifters, 9-4, on Tuesday, April 14, and then beat the Drifters in a six-inning shortened game, 11-1, on Thursday, April 16, before shutting out the Ponies, 11-0, on Friday, April 17. The Devils are now 9-3 overall.

Sophomore first baseman Kamari Sayles had the hot bat across the Chesapeake Bay last Friday with a perfect day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double and two home runs to….
