Lady Devils take wins from King & Queen; fall to Northumberland

Lancaster picked up a non-league varsity volleyball win over King & Queen last Monday but lost to Northumberland in a Northern Neck District match last Wednesday. That loss drops the Lady Devils to 2-3 in the district.

Lancaster swept King & Queen, 3-0, with scores of 25-9, 25-18 and 25-9.

Northumberland beat Lancaster three straight with wins of 25-16, 25-15 and 25-17. Sydney Price led Lancaster’s front line with three kills and three blocks.

McKenzie Hathaway had 16 digs and Madison Giese 10 digs to lead the Lady Devils’ back row and Katherine Thomas had nine assists in the middle…
