Lady Indians open season with wins

Northumberland’s varsity girls soccer teams are off to a 2-0 start this season with a pair of non-district shutouts, including a slaughter rule 9-0 win over Arcadia on March 18.

The Lady Indians opened the season March 11 with a 4-0 win over King William.

Northumberland’s Tahi Wiggins scored a goal 30 seconds into the Arcadia match on an assist by Hannah Loving and stuck in her second goal at the seven-minute mark on a pass from Bess Blake.
