The Lady Indians girls soccer team improved to 2-0-1 last week after picking up wins over King William and Nandua.
Northumberland opened the season March 16 with a 1-1 tie against the Lady Cavaliers.
Against Nandua last Friday, Grace Emminizer scored the first goal for NHS from about 30 yards out early in the first half. Hannah Loving’s break-away goal on an assist from Shannon Chapman and Cameron Lewis’s score on a penalty kick gave the Lady Indians a 3-0 lead at the half that stuck.
