LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, September 11, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.

In the case of Phillip E. Dean of White Stone, charged with four felonies for violating probation, a show cause hearing was scheduled for October 9.

In the case of Christopher J. Baublitz of Lancaster, charged with felonies for forgery and uttering a forged document, a misdemeanor for transporting a firearm while the subject of a protective order, a misdemeanor for reckless handling of a firearm, a misdemeanor for posting a “no hunting” sign on someone else’s property, and a misdemeanor for hunting on someone else’s property without permission, a trial is set for December 4.

In the case of Calvin F. Taylor III of Lancaster, charged with distribution of Schedule I/II substance, third-plus offense, the trial was re-scheduled for September 18 because the defendant changed attorneys.

In the case of Oriel P. Lee of Reedville, charged with felony probation violation, a status hearing was continued until October 9.

In the case of William D. Rogers of Weems, charged with a felony for being a felon in possession of a weapon or ammunition, but not a gun, the trial was rescheduled for December 4 because the defendant changed attorneys.
