Due to the increase in coronavirus cases locally, the Lancaster Community Library (LCL) recently resumed curbside pick-up.
“Resumption of curbside pick-up was a difficult decision,” said library director Alice Cooper. “However, we take the safety of our volunteers and staff seriously, many of whom are in the high risk category for coronavirus. Once a critical mass of volunteers and staff are fully vaccinated, the library will re-open.”
Many library services are available at this time, said Cooper. Patrons can now order library materials at https://lancaster.biblionix.com/catalog/ with a library card. Those who do not have internet access can call LCL, 435-1729, email library@lancasterlibrary.org, or call to get a library card.
Kids-packs also are available for pick up, including activities on a weekly theme, she said. Storytime and Babygarten continue….
