LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, June 27, with the Hon. William H. Shaw III presiding.
In the case of Alkendra S. Coleman of Lancaster, charged with a felony for violating probation, a show cause hearing was scheduled for August 15.
In the case of Shawn E. Jones of Kilmarnock, charged with two felonies for selling/providing a Schedule I/II substance, a trial was scheduled for October 24.
In the case of John R. Martin of Lancaster, charged with felonies for assault on a law enforcement officer and carrying a concealed weapon, second offense, a status hearing was scheduled for August 15.
In the case of Jalin N. Powell of Lancaster, charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor for violating probation, a show cause hearing was scheduled for August 22.
Molly J. Kane of Lancaster pleaded no contest to a felony for violating probation and was sentenced to four years and six months with all but three months suspended.
William M. Beales of Hartfield, pleaded guilty to a felony for possession of a Schedule I/II substance. A sentencing hearing was scheduled for August 15. Beales withdrew an appeal of a misdemeanor conviction for DWI. He was fined $250 and ordered to pay $321 in court costs.
