HEATHSVILLE— The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, June 24, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
Kyle T. Jones of Newport News pleaded nolo contendere to possessing or transporting a weapon as a violent felon. The plea is under advisement and a deferred disposition was set for June 23, 2026. He owes $565.20 in court costs. A misdemeanor charge of possession of Schedule III drugs was concluded by nolle prosequi.
In the case of Jennie L. Lansberry of Heathsville, charged with probation violation on a felony offense and larceny by unauthorized use of a vehicle, a show cause was continued to December 16.
In the case of Eric W. Milau of Callao, charged with two counts of possession of a gun as a nonviolent felon and two counts of selling/giving a gun to a felon or unauthorized person, a status hearing was set for July 22. Milau also faces two misdemeanor charges of selling a firearm without verification.
Keyvone T. Williams of Weems pleaded guilty to probation violation on a felony offense and was sentenced to seven years and four months with seven years and one month suspended. He faces $213 in court costs. A failure to appear on a felony offense charge was dismissed.
In the case of Nicholas L. Turner of Warsaw, charged with two counts of rape by force/threat, two counts of abduction with intent to defile, three counts of use of a firearm in a felony, sodomy, two counts of possession of a gun as a nonviolent felon, extortion in writing, aiding in the concealment of a firearm, and misdemeanor offenses of violating a protective order and obstructing or resisting without force, a status hearing was set for July 22.
