KILMARNOCK—The Lancaster County Broadband Authority (LCBA) recently held public meetings at the Lancaster Community Library to discuss the current status of broadband expansion in the county.
The LCBA continues to work on a Telecommunications Planning Grant from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, said chairman Cassie Thompson.
A big part of the grant is to get the community involved and share information, said Thompson. These meetings were the first of many to keep citizens informed regarding the planning process.
