RICHMOND—The Library of Virginia recently announced the Circuit Court Records Preservation (CCRP) program has awarded Lancaster County Circuit Court Clerk Diane H. Mumford a $13,558 grant for local records preservation.
The funds will be used to restore General Index to Deeds 2, from 1900; Order Book 24, 1811-1818; and Will Book 28, 1795-1839, stored in her office. They will also be digitized so that they can be made available to the public through…
