LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened February 15 and 22 with the Hon. Judge R. Michael McKenney presiding.

February 15 cases

On February 15, Joseph S. Callahan of Weems entered an Alford plea and was found guilty on felony charges of grand larceny and breaking and entering into a storage vehicle. His bond was denied and a pre-sentence report is set for April 5. Callahan also re-appeared before Judge McKenney on February 22 when his bond was again denied.

Co-counsel was appointed for Marvin W. Davenport Jr. on four felony charges including the use of a firearm and second degree murder. No address was provided for Davenport.

Daniel L. Gross Jr. was denied bond and a trial was set for April 5 for felony charges of grand larceny and nonviolent possession of a gun.

Keonte R. Walters was granted bond with a show cause hearing set for March 15 for three felony probation violation offenses and a misdemeanor probation violation.

Susan L. Blake of Weems, charged with felonies of title registration fraud and forgery/uttering, had her trial set for July 12.

Linwood R. Canon of Topping entered a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of brandishing a firearm.

February 22 cases

On February 22, Judson N. McGuire of Irvington appeared before Judge McKenny for a revocation hearing on two felony probation violations and two misdemeanor probation violations. On the felony charges, Judge McKenney revoked two years then resuspended two years. Twelve months was revoked on the misdemeanors with time served suspended.

Centrix B. Palmer of Kilmarnock was arraigned on a felony probation violation with trial set for April 26.

A bond hearing was continued for Steve E. Robinson of Lancaster relating to a felony charge of aggravated sexual battery of a victim younger than 13.

A trial was set for March 8 for Derrell A. Bundy of Dunnsville who was charged with a misdemeanor of driving with a revoked license.

A misdemeanor charge for a pre-trial violation against Brian K. Dawson of White Stone was dismissed.
