The Integrated Digital Shipbuilding Mobile Experience Trailer will visit Rappahannock Community College (RCC), 12745 College Drive, Glenns, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. March 12.
The event is sponsored by RCC, the Virginia College Advising Corps (VCAC) and Huntington Ingalls Shipyard (Newport News Shipbuilding), reported VCAC college advisor Meghan E. Madler. The event is open to all who are interested and will include information about new shipbuilding technology such as 3D printing and augmented reality.
Representatives from the Apprentice School will talk to interested RCC and high school students.
