LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, October 4, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Detavin Francis of Lancaster appealed a General District Court bond denial and was denied bond.
Ashley N. Holcomb of Hayes appealed a General District Court bond denial and was granted bond.
The trial of Larry W. Hearn Jr. of Weems, charged with felonies for selling/distributing alprazolam and selling/distributing cocaine was continued to December 6. Two additional charges of receiving/buying stolen goods greater than $500 and selling stolen goods greater than $500 was nolle prossed.
Hearn was also charged with three felonies and two misdemeanors for violating probation as well as five felonies and two misdemeanors for failing to comply with pretrial conditions. A show cause hearing also was scheduled for December 6.
The remaining charges, five felonies and two misdemeanors for failing to appear, were nolle prossed.
