LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, December 6, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Lucian T. D. Smith of Richmond, charged with a felony for sodomy of a helpless victim or by force, a hearing to appoint counsel was continued and a status hearing was scheduled for December 13.
In the case of Dalonta T. Henderson of Reedville, charged with felonies for shooting a firearm from a vehicle and malicious shooting at a car, bond was denied and a status hearing was scheduled for January 31.
In the case of Larry W. Hearn Jr. of Lancaster, charged with five felonies and two misdemeanors for failing to comply with pretrial conditions; three felonies and two misdemeanors for violating probation; a felony for selling/distributing alprazolam; a felony for selling/distributing cocaine and a felony for unauthorized use of a vehicle; a trial was continued to January 17.
In the case of Maria F. Thompson of Kilmarnock, previously found not guilty of probation violations by reason of insanity, a review hearing was scheduled for June 6.
