LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, January 10, with the Hon. William H. Shaw presiding.

In the case of Marvel A. Rice of Richmond, charged with a felony for violating probation, a status hearing was scheduled for January 24.

In the case of Keyvone T. Williams of Newport News, charged with nine felonies for violating probation and nine felonies for failing to appear, a status hearing was continued to January 24.

In the case of Gregory McEachern II of Topping, appealing a General District Court bond decision, bond was denied. He also is charged with one felony and two misdemeanors for violating probation. A hearing on those charges was scheduled for April 25.

In the case of Karl N. Blackwell of Richmond, charged with four felonies for violating probation, he was found guilty on two of the charges. He was sentenced to eight years and six months with seven years and six months suspended on the first charge and 10 years, all suspended, on the second charge. He will also serve 10 years probation upon release and….
