LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, June 12, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Kionte R. Walters of Heathsville, charged with three felonies and one misdemeanor for violating probation, a bond hearing was continued to July 10.
Monterra T. Cottrell, no address given, pleaded guilty to four felonies for violating probation. He was given an active sentence of one year with the remaining 42 years suspended.
In the case of Andre M. Jones of Lancaster, charged with a felony for assault on a law enforcement officer, a status hearing was scheduled for July 24.
In the case of Douglas M. Mills, no address given, charged with a felony for abduction by force/intimidation and misdemeanors for assault and battery of a family member; destruction of property; and stalking with fear of death/assault; a status hearing was scheduled for July 24.
In the case of Wendy D. Smith of White Stone, appealing a General District Court misdemeanor conviction for refusing a breathalyzer, subsequent within 10 years; a trial was continued by the defense to August 14.
David C. Taylor of White Stone was acquitted on a felony charge of destruction of property.
In the case of Karl N. Blackwell of Richmond, charged with two felonies for violating probation, a status hearing was scheduled for July 10.
