LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened on Friday, September 21, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
The case of Tyrone Michael Waddy of Burgess, charged with a felony probation violation, was not prosecuted at the time of trial.
William M. Noel, no address given, charged with three felonies including two counts of manufacturing or distributing a controlled substance and one count of selling or providing resale of a Schedule I or II drug, was not prosecuted on the selling charge and one of the manufacturing charges. The case was continued to September 28.
Laderah O. Daye of Heathsville, charged with three felonies of embezzlement, was not prosecuted at the time of trial on two of the charges. The other charge was deferred until December 14.
The case of James W. Folan of Lancaster, charged with two felonies of unauthorized use of a vehicle and grand larceny, was continued to October 26 because Folan failed to appear in court. A capias was issued on both charges and an arraignment for two failing to appear charges is also scheduled for October 26.
A bond hearing for Kemonte D. Smith of White Stone, charged with three felonies of using a firearm, robbery and wearing masks in certain places, was continued to September 28 because a defense attorney was not prepared.
