Lancaster County is watching for litterbugs

LANCASTER—Lancaster County anti-littering advocate Judy Ripley recently reported cameras are in place to film those throwing trash.

“Littering has become an ugly blight on our roadsides and waterways,” said Ripley. “Concerned citizens cannot keep up with well-intended pickups. This is affecting our property values, polluting our waterways and certainly affecting our tourism.”
