LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and Drug Enforcement Administration will collect unwanted prescription drugs for disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the LCSO, 8293 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster.
This is the 15th opportunity in seven years the LCSO and DEA have offered this opportunity, noted Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie. The public is urged to help prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.
Folks may bring pills or patches for disposal to the LCSO. However, the DEA cannot accept liquids of needles or sharps, said Sheriff McCranie. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked…
