LANCASTER—The 2019 fall Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and Electronic Waste Collection for Lancaster County will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, October 12, in the courthouse parking lot at 8311 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster.
“We were so pleased at the response we had for our spring event. I think that holding the collection in a more centrally located venue made it possible for more Lancaster citizens to participate,” said Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District (NNSWCD) outreach and education specialist Kathleen Watson.
Lancaster County, Virginia Cooperative Extension and the NNSWCD have collaborated to provide residents a convenient way to rid their property of hazardous household chemicals….
