WHITE STONE—The final home in the town’s housing rehabilitation project is under contract and contractors should break ground in early November on White Stone’s public sewer project.
“Finally!” said town Mayor Randy Reeves. “It’s been a long time but it looks like we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.”
The housing rehab and public sewer projects are part of Phase I of a town renovation.
Town manager Patrick Frere told council last Thursday the pipes, tanks, grinder pump stations and related items are being ordered for the public sewer project and that ground should be broken following a construction meeting on November 7. The meeting will include….
