Lancaster High School graduates 86

LANCASTER—Most of the world is in that in-between time of embracing pandemic precautions while also experiencing the joy of social gatherings. Lancaster High School’s graduation festivities on Saturday, May 22, reflected that duality of a cautious return to a new normal.

The 86 graduates may have celebrated in four smaller, socially distanced ceremonies, but each had the hallmarks of traditional graduations that reminded LHS principal Tara Booth “just how untraditional this year has been.” Booth told the graduates that “though faced with challenges, you have learned to adapt, adjust and excel. These will be important characteristics as you learn how to successfully navigate this new world of ours.” 

And in an unusual turn of events this year, three students achieved top scores and shared….
