Lancaster High School and Volunteer River Counties will partner with more than 15 community-based organizations to host the largest student-led day of service in the region on September 11 to honor the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.
Hundreds of students will engage in service projects with partners, reported Krystle Watkins. The event will feature participation from school officials, community leaders and representatives of Volunteer River Counties, the area’s online resource for finding volunteer opportunities.
