The Lancaster High School junior varsity kept Essex away from the goal in the first quarter and went on an 11-0 run to set the tone for a 30-point win Friday, February 4. The Red Devils beat the Trojans, 45-15.
LHS also picked up two wins over Rappahannock in the last week, beating the Raiders, 40-14, February 2, and defeating RHS, 47-15, February 7.
Lancaster took a 22-7 lead at the half and outscored Essex by another 11 in the third to cruise to the win.
Keyvontrez Bunns scored 12 points to lead eight scorers….
