Lancaster finished its dual-match season with an impressive 19-1 mark and a longstanding individual record was broken by senior grappler Adam Wilmore last weekend.

The Red Devils beat host Middlesex, 48-27, and Gloucester, 52-27, in a tri-meet in Saluda last Wednesday to end the dual-match season. The Northern Neck District tournament is this week and the super regional is February 14 at Riverheads with the state Class 1 tournament February 21-22 in Salem.

“It was nice to finish our [regular] season with a win over Gloucester, a big 6A school, and a well-coached Middlesex,” said LHS coach Craig Oren.
