Lancaster pounds Essex High, 72-48

Lancaster pulled away from visiting Essex with a 20-7 run in the second quarter last Wednesday and went on to pick up its fifth Northern Neck District win, 72-48, over the Trojans.

The Red Devils are on a five-game winning streak and unbeaten in the district with four more games remaining in the regular season. They are 11-4 overall and began their second run through the district schedule this week. Lancaster hosts Colonial Beach tomorrow night, January 31, and will travel to Northumberland on Tuesday, January 4.
